Signups & Restrictions

Important: All players must meet age and consent requirements.
  • Signups close TBC at 16:00
  • Minimum age: 16+
  • Under 18 requires parental consent
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
  • Games begin: TBC
  • Captains meeting: 18:30 Week 1

Game Session Setup

Broadcasted Matches
Matches selected for broadcast will be streamed on Esports Wales Twitch

An observer will contact teams and set up matches if selected.

Non-Broadcasted Matches

The left-hand team hosts the lobby:

  1. Open Rocket League
  2. Select Play
  3. Select Private Match
  4. Create Private Match
  5. Enter a Custom Name and Password
  6. Adjust preferred settings and Create Match
Lobby Settings
  • Default Arena: Champions Field
  • Team size: 3v3
  • Bot Difficulty: No Bots
  • Mutators: None
  • Match Time: 5 Minutes
  • Joinable By: Name/Password
  • Server: Europe

Teams should wait for all players to join the match before choosing sides.

Pauses

Technical Pauses
  • Max 10 minutes per map
  • Must state reason in chat
Tactical Pauses
  • 2 per team
  • 60 seconds each

Cheating & Exploits

Cheating will result in immediate disqualification.

  • Exploits/bugs

Streaming

Players, and clubs must submit permission via the Streaming Request

Streaming is encouraged but must not impact competitive integrity.

Protests

If a controversial situation occurs, whether or not it is described in this rule during a match, the team that has spotted it should capture evidence if possible and immediately stop the match and inform the admins via the tournament system. If the team does not stop the match and continues to play until the maps conclusion, this will be taken as an acceptance of the situation. If the map is played in full both teams will lose all rights to file a protest concerning that situation after the game has ended. Protests must be made immediately, or they may be ignored depending on the circumstances.

Protests must be created via the Esports Wales Discord to the Tournament Admin.
